These books really are a journey to another world and although I found them difficult to read to begin with, once you find the rhythm, you're in, you're on your way to Middle Earth.  There really is a lot more in the books than the films, although I am avid fan of the films.   To help you enjoy the journey, there's tea to drink and treats to eat.  No admittance sign to hang on your door and a bag to keep all the treats in, so you can take Middle Earth with you wherever you go.  There's a Lord of the Rings Tin to keep your salt and pepper in, or maybe a sewing kit or a some sweet treats.  There is a wonderful Laptop sticker to decorate your favourite device and an elven broach to pin on your coat or bag.  The map will help you plan your journey and the bookmark will help you keep your place. This box will help you through the long journey to Mordor and back again.  Ps, some of the names are very difficult to say...
